CUMAR CD
A collection of songs and music from the annual Cumar school in the indigenous Gaeltacht arts. The first "Willy Clancy-modelled school to be run entirely through the medium of Irish. "It is also a school with a difference in so far as it focuses not merely on traditional music and dance, but also on the development and celebration of the distinct indigenous Gaeltacht arts of sean-nós singing, sean-nós dancing and the oral tradition." A lovely album featuring many of the finest young, and not so young, traditional artistes in Connemara today.
