This band was a pioneering force in the performance of traditional songs in the Irish Language. Their one and only album was recorded (in one sitting, one day) in 1971. It was re-mastered and re-issued on CD in 2004. 15 songs in the Ulster tradition, arranged tastefully and sung with ornate harmony and accompaniment by four talented singers and musicians. The members were Micheál ó Domhnaill, who died tragically in 2006, and his two sisters Maighréad and Tríona, along with their friend Daithí Sproule. The work is as fresh today as it was when it was first released over 35 years ago.
